EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN Workshop #6: In Your Mind, Out of Your Body Experience
Hanne Lippard (NO) and Natasja Loutchko (SE) present the collaborative artwork “In Your Mind, Out of Your Body Experience”. For this event, the artists will present an immersive series of performative actions evolving around the circumstances of a dinner.
Divided into five action-courses, the duo bases its work on the hype created by media, scientists and pseudo-specialists on the assumptions of what is healthy (in the otherwise unhealthy human environments we have created for ourselves), the aura behind sustainable practices and cleanse processes of the body through the use of certain foods and questionable cleansing techniques.
In Your Mind, Out of Your Body Experience explores through texts, sounds and other elements the ambiguity generated by our assumption-knowledge, that leads to a collective paranoia and a misconception of the word ‘health’.
